First-week checklist
A short list of things to do in your first seven days. If you complete the first three you will have a working daily intelligence loop; everything below that is amplification.
Days 1–2
- Open the daily Brief at
/todayand read all paragraphs. This calibrates what good output looks like before you start changing knobs. - Run three searches at
/search. Try one broad query (e.g., "FedRAMP modernization"), one agency-pivoted query (use the agency filter), and one phrase-quoted query to see how filters work. - Click into one Forecast prediction at
/radar/forecast. Look at how a pre-RFP signal compiles — signals tracked, agencies, vendors, confidence factors.
Days 3–4
- Pin one opportunity. Hit "Promote to case" on any search result or Forecast prediction. The case becomes the place you accrete evidence over weeks.
- Set up one watch at
/watches. Pick an agency or keyword that maps to your pipeline. Alerts route to email by default; webhook receivers configure under/settings/webhooks. - Save one search at
/saved-searches. Team+ tier gets new-match alerts on saved searches.
Days 5–7
- Export your first artifact. Hit "Export" on the daily Brief — Free tier gets PDF, Pro and above unlock DOCX. The export carries inline citations.
- Invite one teammate.
/settings/workspaces→ "Invite member." Teammates can read your cases and reply on evidence pins. - Connect a notification channel.
/settings/webhooks→ add your team Slack or Teams URL. The dispatcher auto-detects format and posts native Block Kit / Adaptive Card payloads.
Optional but valuable
- Set up the inbox digest at
/settings/notifications. Daily, twice-weekly, or off. - Browse the entity graph at
/network. Start at an agency you care about and BFS two hops out. - Generate an API key at
/settings/api-keysif you are on Enterprise+ and want programmatic access.
