Upgrading your workspace

There are two paths: self-serve (Pro and Team) and sales-led (Enterprise, the Federal Pilot and Government). Both start at /pricing or at /billing inside the app.

FedGrade is invite-only today. If you do not have an account yet, use the Request access button on /pricing.

Self-serve — Pro and Team

1. Signed in, open /billing (or click Start Pro / Start Team on /pricing).
2. Stripe Checkout opens for the plan you picked. Each plan is a single flat price for the workspace — Team includes 5 seats; there is no seat count to choose.
3. Enter payment details and confirm.
4. You are returned to /billing, where the new plan shows once Stripe confirms the payment.

Seats are not bought individually. Each plan includes a fixed number of members — 1 on Free and Pro, 5 on Team, up to 25 on Enterprise — and you invite members from /settings/workspaces.

Once you have a subscription, plan changes, payment methods and cancellation go through the Stripe billing portal, opened from /billing. The portal handles changes so that you are never billed for two plans at once.

Sales-led — Enterprise, Federal Pilot and Government

Enterprise, the Federal Pilot and Government are arranged with sales. The Talk to sales buttons on /pricing open an email to justin@fedgrade.com. Include your company or agency name, expected number of users, target plan and procurement timeline. Sales can provide our current security documentation: a self-attested control baseline aligned to NIST 800-53 Moderate, with SOC 2 Type II as a published target that is not yet attested.

For Government, sales also scopes the items that are on our roadmap rather than live today — PIV-CAC sign-in, FIPS mode and AWS GovCloud residency — during onboarding.

Discounts

• Annual billing: about 17% off Pro and Team ($390/yr and $1,990/yr, billed up front).
• Enterprise, Federal Pilot and Government terms, including multi-year terms, are set in the contract.

What carries over when you upgrade

Everything — personas, watches, saved searches, cases, notes and settings. The plan is a property of the workspace, so nothing is migrated.

What changes when the upgrade takes effect

On Pro:

• AI generations unlock (Draft with AI, on-demand Brief synthesis, variant previews)
• The full Brief (up to ten items) shows in the app and arrives by email
• Brief history beyond 30 days becomes visible
• Brief DOCX export, share links and workspace data export unlock
• Watches rise to 5, personas to 3, and saved searches become unlimited
• The FedGrade Network graph (depth 1) unlocks

On Team, additionally: pWin assessments, the ranked opportunity pipeline, RFP shred, saved-search alerts, intelligent alert rules, network depth 2 and cited paths, and capture deliverables.

On Enterprise, additionally: the MCP server with live data, the read-only REST API, API keys and webhooks, and network depth 3.
