Tier overview — Free, Pro, Team, Enterprise, Government
FedGrade runs five tiers. The lower three are self-serve; Enterprise and Government are sales-led. Pricing and the feature matrix below reflect the canon at /pricing and the limits enforced in lib/entitlements/catalog.ts and lib/tier-gates.ts. Where this table and enforcement ever disagree, enforcement is right and this table is a bug — report it.

Pricing posture
Free is a no-credit-card sandbox. Pro is $39/month. Team is $199/month flat — one price for the workspace, which includes 5 seats; it is not billed per seat. Enterprise and Government quote on contract. Annual billing saves about 17% ($390/yr for Pro, $1,990/yr for Team). Multi-year terms are negotiated on contract. Choosing a tier
If you are evaluating FedGrade solo, start on Free. If you need DOCX export, full archive, unlimited queries, network access, or watches at all (Free has none), move to Pro. If a team of 5+ analysts shares a workspace, Team is the right floor. Enterprise unlocks the API, webhooks, SCIM, and policy controls. Government is designed for federal agencies with PIV-CAC, FIPS, and GovCloud residency requirements; these capabilities are delivered during Government-tier onboarding and are on the certification roadmap — ask us for current status.
The tier is configurable per workspace, not per user; mixing tiers across a single workspace is not supported.
