Tier overview — Free, Pro, Team, Enterprise, Government
FedGrade has five plan tiers plus a fixed-price Federal Pilot offer. Once you have an account, upgrades to Pro and Team are self-serve through Stripe; Enterprise and Government are arranged with sales, and the Federal Pilot is a fixed-price annual term available through sales. The table below matches /pricing and the limits the product actually enforces. If you ever see the product behave differently from this page, the product is right and this page has a bug — please report it.
FedGrade is invite-only today: new accounts are created by invitation rather than open sign-up.

The Federal Pilot ($14,500 per year, fixed price) gives a single agency team the Enterprise capability surface for an annual term.
Bill & File is on every tier. Timesheets, invoices, payment tracking, submission packages and the compliance calendar (CPARS prep, subcontract flowdowns, SAM renewal, filing deadlines) carry no tier gate. Timesheets and invoices hang off a contract record, and a contract record is created when you mark a pursuit won (or use Create contract on the case page) — so on Free, which allows one active pursuit, you can run it for one contract. A submission package includes a compliance-matrix volume only if the solicitation was shredded, and RFP shred is Team and above; without it the package lists that volume as a gap.
Sign-in, security and hosting — every tier
- Sign-in: email and password. Single sign-on is not offered on any tier.
- Hosting: all workspace data is stored and processed in the United States — the database runs in Supabase's us-west-1 region and the application runs on Vercel functions in sfo1. See Data residency.
- Encryption: TLS 1.2 or newer in transit; AES-256 at rest by our hosting providers.
- On the roadmap, not live on any tier: PIV-CAC sign-in, FIPS mode and AWS GovCloud residency.
Pricing posture
Free needs no credit card. Pro is $39/month. Team is $199/month flat — one price for the workspace, which includes 5 seats; it is not billed per seat. Annual billing saves about 17% ($390/yr for Pro, $1,990/yr for Team). Enterprise, the Federal Pilot and Government are quoted with sales. Choosing a tier
If you are evaluating FedGrade on your own, start on Free — search is unmetered and you get one pursuit, one watch and three saved searches. Bill & File (timesheets, invoicing, submission packages, compliance calendar) is included on every tier, Free too. Move to Pro for AI drafting and on-demand synthesis, the full Brief by email, more watches and personas, and depth-1 access to the FedGrade Network. Team is the floor for a group of up to five analysts and adds pWin assessments, the ranked opportunity pipeline, RFP shred, alert rules and capture deliverables. Enterprise adds the MCP server, the read-only API and webhooks. Government is for federal agencies and is scoped per agency with sales.
The tier applies to the whole workspace, not to individual users.
